Genuine Daikin Capacitors

If your Daikin’s fan won’t start, the outdoor unit hums without kicking in, or the compressor struggles on start-up, a failed capacitor is one of the most common causes. The capacitor gives the motor the jolt it needs to start and the steady push to keep running — when it weakens, the motor can’t do its job. Below are genuine Daikin capacitors, matched to your model.

Daikin units rely on run and start capacitors to drive the fan and compressor motors. A failing capacitor often shows as a swollen or domed top, a motor that hums but won’t spin, or intermittent starting. Because a capacitor stores an electrical charge even after the power is switched off, discharging, testing and replacing it is a job for a licensed technician. Genuine Daikin capacitors are matched to your unit’s exact rating — microfarads (µF) and voltage — so the motor gets the start and run characteristics it was built around.
