Genuine Daikin Sensors & Switches

Is your Daikin flashing an error code, short-cycling, or refusing to run? The sensors and switches are the system’s eyes — thermistors reading temperatures, pressure switches protecting the compressor, float switches watching the water level — and a faulty one feeds the board bad information. Below are genuine Daikin sensors and switches, matched to your model.

Daikin systems rely on a network of small sensors. Thermistors are temperature sensors — indoor and outdoor, air, coil, liquid, gas and discharge — that tell the board how the system is performing. Pressure switches and sensors protect the compressor by cutting out on high or low pressure. Float switches watch the condensate water level and shut the unit down if the drain blocks. When a sensor drifts or fails, the board gets the wrong picture: the result is often an error code, short-cycling, false trips, or a unit that won’t start. Because the symptoms overlap, a licensed technician reads the fault in context before replacing a sensor.
